Ananoa Beach is set in a secluded location a few miles off the main road down a sandy track facing some great surfing breaks. Our property fronts a lovely white sand beach with sandy bottom swimming lagoon. We have several types of traditional beach fales all fronting the beach and all well spaced apart. Two open style fales are located at the far end of the beach, hidden by a large tropical tree giving them even more privacy, each fale having a raised double bed. We have one large open style fale with four raised beds which is used as a dormitory. We also have a large enclosed fale ideal for families.
Excellent offshore reef surfing breaks with boat access from the resort with stunning coastal walks and several outstanding nearby attractions including AfaAau waterfall and the Pulemelei ancient star mound both of which are 15 minutes drive by car.

Getting There:
Polynesian Airlines offers fights from Faleolo Intternational Airport on the north west coast of Upolu to Moata Airport, about five km from Salelologa Town on the south eastern tip of Savai'i. Cost is about ST$50 one way with five flights per day and take just 20 minutes offering aerial sightseeing on the way. Ferries depart Mulifanua Wharf on eastern Upolu five times a day, costing just ST$7 one way and taking 1 hour and 15 minutes. There's a twice daily fast ferry taking just 45-minutes and costing a couple dollars more.
A taxi direct to Ananoa from Salelologa Wharf will cost about ST$8 (takes 15 minutes) and from Moata Airport about ST$5 (takes about 10 minutes).
The alternative is to take the Green Turtle Tour which stops at Ananoa every day on request. Green Turtle are based in Salelologa and depart each day at 8am from Salelologa Wharf, and at 9pm from Manase. Simply purchase your travel pass which enables you to hop-on and hop-off the bus as many times as you like during your stay and take a scenic and educational tour en-route.
Car rental is best arranged from Apia and brought with you on the ferry.
There is no public bus to Ananoa Beach.
