Satui'atua Beach Fales is located on the quiet south west coast of Savai'i. Offering some of the most beautifully hand made traditional fales from local woods, with coconut frond roofs and blinds, this beach resort is popular with those who want to chill out or perhaps surf or snorkel in the nearby reef.
One over the water honeymoon suite with private facilities is perfect for those looking for some relaxation. Excellent food.
Surfing is good offshore but we do not provide boat access. Serious surfers may wish to paddle out to the surf with their own boards.

Getting There:
Polynesian Airlines offers fights from Faleolo Intternational Airport on the north west coast of Upolu to Moata Airport, about five km from Salelologa Town on the south eastern tip of Savai'i. Cost is about ST$50 one way with five flights per day and take just 20 minutes offering aerial sightseeeing on the way. Ferries depart Mulifanua Wharf on eastern Upolu five times a day, costing just ST$7 one way and taking 1 hour and 15 minutes. There's a twice daily fast ferry taking just 45-minutes and costing a couple dollars more.
The easiest way to get to Satuiatua is to take the Green Turtle Tour which stops at the fales every day. Green Turtle are based in Salelologa and depart each day at 8am from Salelologa Wharf and from Manase at 9am. Simply purchase your travel pass which enables you to hop-on and hop-off the bus as many times as you like during your stay and take a scenic and educational tour en-route.
A taxi direct to Satuiatua from Salelologa Wharf will cost about ST$75 (takes 1 hour and 20 minutes).
Car rental is best arranged from Apia and brought with you on the ferry.
There is a limited and not altogether reliable public bus service to Satuiatua from Salelologa.
